Dont miss this one-of-a-kinda seaplane and car show
From the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum,
SEAPLANE HOMECOMING: A TRIBUTE TO GLENN H. CURTISS WHO MADE FLYING ON AND OFF THE WATER A REALITY.
Since 2003, the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum and dedicated volunteers have held the “Seaplane Homecoming” each fall on Keuka Lake, where Curtiss made some of his greatest contributions to aviation. In the early 1900’s it took bravery, ingenuity and cunning to do what he did. Thanks to the generosity of the owner/pilots, a wide variety of Seaplanes will gather at Depot Park. Get up close to the aircraft and talk with the pilots owners. Learn a great deal about why water flying is so satisfying and exciting.
