The Cohocton Fall Foliage Festival returns this October with a weekend of fun, including a pumpkin hunt, a decorating contest, and a variety of family-friendly activities.
The 59th annual Cohocton Fall Foliage Festival, themed Autumn Delight, returns to the Village Green this October 5th and 6th. The festival promises a weekend of fall fun for all ages with vendors, a petting zoo, a parade, horse-drawn wagon rides, fireworks, and a classic car show.
Both days will feature an arts, crafts, antique, and flea market alongside a petting zoo. Attendees can also enjoy a parade on Saturday and fireworks later that evening.
A special hidden pumpkin challenge awaits on Sunday. The first person to find the pumpkin and email a picture with it to cohoctonvendors@yahoo.com wins $100. Later submissions by 3 pm enter you for a $50 prize. There’s also a property decorating contest for residents and businesses. The most festive fall-themed property following the Autumn Delight theme wins $100 with a second-place prize of $50. Winners for both contests will be announced Sunday at the information booth.
