The VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System will host a career fair later this month in Steuben County, offering job seekers an opportunity to explore a range of healthcare and support positions.
The event is scheduled for April 22 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bath VA Medical Center, located in Building 92. The career fair is free and open to the public.
Officials say the event is designed to connect potential applicants with careers focused on serving veterans, with representatives on hand to discuss employment opportunities and hiring needs.
The VA is actively recruiting for a variety of positions, including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and medical support staff. Additional openings include roles such as dental assistants, electricians, boiler plant operators, and food service workers.
Organizers emphasize that the healthcare system is seeking dedicated professionals committed to supporting the health and well-being of veterans. The event will provide attendees with the chance to learn more about available roles and the application process.
