From Keuka College,
KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — For the second year in a row, Keuka College senior golfer Tyler Green (Sackets Harbor, N.Y. / Sackets Harbor) was honored by the Empire 8 Conference, being named to the 2025-26 Empire 8 Men’s Golf Tomorrow’s Leader team.
Green appeared in five tournaments for the Wolves, playing nine total rounds. He has continued to improve as his season-average of 87.8 is below his career average of 90.2. His best round of the season was an 81 at Keuka’s home invitational in the fall where he tied for 11th place. This past weekend, Green led the Wolves in the Empire 8 Championship. Combining with his score from the fall, Green took 31st place in the conference championship. His total score of 344 over the four rounds was the lowest posted by a Keuka golfer in the program history.
Previously known as the Sportsman of the Year team, Green was one of eight student-athletes honored by the conference. From the Conference’s release, “This team honors a student-athlete who has emerged as a leader not only on the field of play, but in the classroom and in the community. In addition, they ‘compete with honor and integrity’ and have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen.”
