Two Penn Yan men sent to Yates County Jail

Pictured above: Edward F. Galvin III, 38, of Penn Yan, was arrested by Penn Yan Police following a public lewdness complaint. It’s alleged that Galvin was openly masturbating on Seneca Street as traffic was passing by. Galvin was located on Elm Street and subsequently taken into custody. Upon a search incidental to arrest it was discovered that Galvin III was unlawfully in possession of a loaded Sig Sauer 9MM handgun. Galvin was processed at the Police Department where he continued to expose himself to officers. He was later transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment.
Penn Yan Police arrested Leah M. Brady, 41, of Penn Yan for Assault 3rd and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing after officers were called to an apartment building for a report of a fight. On arrival officers discovered Brady got into an argument with another female and began choking her and then threw her to the ground. The victim sustained a broken arm from being thrown to the ground and was transported to the hospital via ambulance. Brady was taken into custody and transported to the Yates County Jail to await CAP arraignment for the purposes of obtaining an order of protection.
All those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
