CANANDAIGUA, NY – Historic Downtown Canandaigua will come alive with international
culture, cuisine, music, and classic automobiles on Saturday, May 16, during the annual
International Festival & Classic Euro Car Celebration from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Main
Street.
This family-friendly celebration invites the community to explore cultures from around the world
while enjoying authentic food, live performances, interactive activities, and an impressive lineup
of classic and vintage European and Japanese vehicles manufactured prior to 2001.
The day kicks off at 11:00 AM with the beloved Classic Euro Car Cruise down Main Street,
followed by the vehicles lining Main Street on display for visitors to admire up close throughout
the afternoon. People Choice Judging will take place form 12-3 with Car Awards at 3:00
Live entertainment and cultural performances will take place on the Maxion Stage at Commons
Park throughout the day, featuring:
● The Finger Lakes Alpine Band 11:30
● Rochester Academy of Irish Dance 1:15
● African Drumming by Mayukwa 2:00
● Pinata Party 2:45
At Tavern Off Main
● Bag Piper 12 PM & Irish Music By “Himself” 1-4
Visitors can also enjoy international-inspired foods, desserts, and drinks from Downtown
Canandaigua restaurants and vendors while strolling the vibrant downtown district.
For Kids to enjoy…Free Smoothies at North Star Cafe, Paint your own wooden car, Race Flags,
Pinata Party.
Live Music 6 PM -11PM includes Bands at Tavern off Main ( Ryan Roethel), Peacemaker Brewing (The Sandshapes) and Lincoln on Main (Cadillac Creek)
Exciting Additions This Year: Taste of Nations Week
Leading up to the festival, Downtown Canandaigua will launch the inaugural Taste of Nations
Week, taking place May 12–16. Participating restaurants throughout downtown will feature
international-inspired dishes, desserts, beverages, and specials representing flavors from around
the globe.
Guests are encouraged to dine, stroll, and discover new cuisines all week long while supporting

New International Tea Trail Experience
Another exciting addition this year is the Tea Trail, presented by Good Life Tea. The experience
will feature four international tea tastings along with tea-inspired stops at participating
downtown businesses, encouraging visitors to explore the district while discovering flavors and
traditions from around the world.
The International Festival & Classic Euro Car Celebration continues to grow as one of
Downtown Canandaigua’s signature spring events, bringing together culture, community,
shopping, dining, and entertainment in the heart of the Finger Lakes.
