Saturday July 11, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PMJoin us for a day of yoga and wellness at the beautiful farm and gardens of Hunt Country. The retreat will be crafted and led by our local friend and passionate yoga instructor Jan Corning. Joining her as your guides throughout the day are Carrie Kane, Margaret Vlymen, Carol Boutard, and Suzanne Hunt. Together they will provide you with a truly unique and individual experience.
This retreat is for any level of yoga experience and ability. Yoga does not require you to qualify. It doesn’t require a certain body, personality or belief system. It meets you exactly where you are, stiff or strong, skeptical or curious, overwhelmed or grounded. The practice adapts. The breath adjusts. The shapes can be modified. What matters isn’t how you arrive, but that you arrive. The practice of yoga is inclusive and human. You don’t have to become someone else to begin. You just have to be willing to start where you are.
Itinerary
Our goal is to provide a truly personal and one-of-a-kind experience. The Welcome Session will help us get to know the needs of our participants and allow us to craft the day organically and specifically to the vibe of the participants. Here is a flexible schedule for the day.
9:00 AM: Outdoor Yoga led by Jan Corning by the Horse Pasture
10:00 AM: Welcome Session with coffee, tea, yogurt, fresh local fruit, and granola.
10:30 AM: Meditation with Margaret Vlymen
11:30 AM: Garden Tour & Enjoying the Abundance of the Season with Suzanne Hunt and Carol Boutard.
12:30 PM: Garden Inspired Nibbles & Lunch
1:00 PM: Kundalini Yoga and Gong Bath with Carrie Kane
2:00 PM: Enjoy a glass of wine with local cheeses and other light snacks to conclude the day.
