AOH Car Show announced for September 12th
From the Allegany County Ancient Order of Hibernians,
Mark your Calendars as the local Allegany County Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) starts the local summer festivities in Allegany County with their 13th Annual Irish Road Bowling Tournament at their Kilbane Road Course in the Town Of Andover, NY. Registration will start at 10 am and this family road bowling event usually goes to 5 pm on June 13th, 2026. The family oriented tournament will be held rain or shine and food and refreshments will be available at the Andover Rod & Gun Club which is midway on the 1.3 mile Irish Road Bowling Course! Local Bowlers mark Joyce of Andover and Shane Dunbar of Wellsville are annual favorites as they have won the mens open numerous times and they hold the course record with the fewest throws.
Toward the end of summer, the local AOH Division with host their Annual “Park in the Park” AOH Car Show event at Wellsville’s Island Park in Wellsville, NY on Saturday September 12th, 2026.. Typically 145-190 cars, trucks and specialty vehicles turn out for a day in the park where food trucks and craft vendors will also be set up. Spectators are always free at our AOH Events with profits from these 2 fundraisers going to support local organizations including the Catholic Charities Wellsville, NY Food Pantry and Outreach Center, Wellsville, Little League, Salvation Army Food Drive, Allegany County Fire Departments, Scholarships to local Graduating Seniors for first year college expenses, the Hart Comfort House of Allegany County as well as various Food Pantries in Allegany County to help alleviate hunger in our local county.
