Central on Main with “It’s My Party” Highlight a Day of Community Fun
CANANDAIGUA, NY — Historic Downtown Canandaigua will come alive with flowers, food,
music, shopping, and community spirit on Saturday, June 6, as the annual Canandaigua In
Bloom celebration returns with a full day of activities for residents and visitors alike.
The festivities begin with the opening day of the Canandaigua Farmers Market, held every
Saturday from 9:00 AM to Noon under the Mill Street Market Pavilion. Visitors can shop a wide
variety of fresh local produce, meats, eggs, flowers, baked goods, maple products, honey,
specialty foods, and more while supporting local farmers and producers.
Throughout the day, downtown businesses will showcase seasonal merchandise, outdoor dining,
beautiful floral displays, and the welcoming atmosphere that has made Historic Downtown
Canandaigua a regional destination.
At 10:00 AM, the community is invited to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of
Ryan Bush State Farm’s new Main Street location at 40 South Main Street. The event will
feature register-to-wins, giveaways, and an opportunity to take photos with “Jake” From State
Farm.’
Visitors can also enjoy the return of The Central on Main, Downtown Canandaigua’s outdoor
community gathering space. Open from June through October, The Central on Main offers a
unique outdoor dining experience where guests can order takeout from participating downtown
restaurants and have it delivered directly to their table. Comfortable seating, outdoor games, live
entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a favorite gathering place for families and
friends.
One of the day’s most anticipated events, the Sip & Stroll, takes place from 3:00 PM to 6:00
PM. Participants ages 21 and over will enjoy handcrafted beverages, delicious small bites, and
unique shopping experiences at multiple locations throughout the Historic District. From local
brews and wines to memorable mocktails, the event offers a fun and relaxed way to explore
downtown while supporting local businesses. Attendees will also be entered for a chance to win
up to $500 in Downtown Canandaigua Gift Certificates. Advance tickets are available online

The celebration continues into the evening with the Opening Night Celebration at The Central
on Main, sponsored by Simply Crepes and Garber Randall. Beginning at 6:30 PM, the
popular group It’s My Party will take the stage, performing until 8:30 PM. Guests are
encouraged to gather with family and friends, enjoy food and beverages from local
establishments, participate in outdoor games, and celebrate the start of another exciting season at
Downtown Canandaigua’s outdoor community venue. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

everything that makes Downtown Canandaigua special,” said Denise Chaapel, Executive
