KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — Both the Keuka College Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams earned the 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, announced by the national coaches’ association.
It was the eighth time in program history that the Men’s team was honored for their academic performance and the seventh time for the Women’s program. It was the first honor for either program since the 2019 season.
The Women’s team at Keuka College posted a 3.62 grade point average for the year, the second highest in the department. They had four student-athletes, Kelsey Davis (Nunda, N.Y. / Keshequa), Anna Leone (Brighton, N.Y. / Brighton), Rilee Nunan (Buffalo, N.Y. / Hamburg), and Emma Sisson (Batavia, N.Y. / Batavia Notre Dame), post a perfect 4.0 GPA for the academic year.
The men had two student-athletes post a perfect grade point average as Anthony Manzari (Elmira, N.Y. / Elmira) and Arik Pellegrino (Pittsford, N.Y. / Pittsford Sutherland) had a 4.0. The team had a 3.42 grade point average overall, the best for the Men’s Soccer team in the past three years.
The Men’s team was one of three from the Empire 8 to be honored. On the women’s side, Keuka College was one of eight conference members recognized.
To be named a Team Academic Award winner, a team must have a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.
