Penn Yan – the Penn Yan Agriculture and FFA announced that Penn Yan Academy is seeking community donors to help fill remaining appointment slots for its first blood drive of the 2026–2027 school year. The organization announced that it is hosting the event and that the event aims to jumpstart a yearlong effort to support regional blood supplies.
The drive will take place on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. inside the Penn Yan Academy gymnasium. Penn Yan Agriculture and FFA have set a target to collect 150 units of blood across four planned drives throughout the academic year, making strong participation in this initial event vital to reaching their goal.
