Did you know that you could be eligible for up to hundreds of dollars a year back in your pockets through New York’s Energy Affordability Program (EAP)?
Approximately 2.5 million additional New York households may now qualify for EAP discounts on your utility bill. Nearly one million households are already enrolled, and eligible participants can save up to hundreds of dollars each year on utility costs. This is on top of the $200 energy rebate checks going to more than 8 million homes.

This is just one of a few ways we’re tackling the affordability crisis. As Washington Republicans’ reckless policies send your bills skyrocketing, we’re sending over $1 billion in energy rebate checks to 8.2 million New York households.
And with the school year in full swing, we’re helping parents save money and time with free breakfast and lunch for our students across the state.
New Yorkers deserve a government that works as hard for them as they do for our state. That’s why I will never stop fighting to put more money back in your pockets and keep the Empire State affordable for all who call it home.
