Cheshire Volunteer Fire Department / October 3, 2026
This evening (October 2, 2026), Cheshire Fire Marine 4 responded to the east side of Canandaigua Lake in the Crystal Beach Fire Department district for the initial report of a patient who had fallen into the water.
While units were en route, the call was updated that the patient was located in a shallow stream within a ravine leading to the lake and had sustained a broken arm.
Upon arrival, the crew from Marine 4 assisted Crystal Beach Fire personnel with removing the patient from the ravine and getting them safely to awaiting Canandaigua Emergency Squad personnel.
Great teamwork by all!
