An action packed Section V championship in Dansville thrilled fans and offered both hard lessons and the taste of victory for Hornell and Livonia teams. The battle extended into double overtime and ended with Reghan Maxwell’s score, completing her hat trick for the game.
Livonia won 4-3 to become repeat champions, joining the boys team who took the Section V championship just a day before. Both teams will advance to sub-regional play, the boys play today in Honeoye Falls at 10am.
