Newly elected members of the Steuben County Legislature officially took their oaths of office, marking the start of a new term for county government.
- Daniel Warriner was sworn in to represent District 1, which includes the City of Hornell
- Debbie Shannon began her service as the legislator for District 12, covering the Town of Erwin.
- Michael Volino assumed office for District 9, representing the towns of Cameron, Canisteo, and Thurston,
- Justin Eberlin was sworn in as the new representative for District 13, which includes Caton, Corning, and Hornby.
The ceremony highlighted themes of cooperation, civic duty, and stable leadership as the Legislature prepares to begin its work. County officials underscored the importance of working together to address local priorities, strengthen county operations, and responsibly manage public resources.
With the new members in place, the Steuben County Legislature enters the term with an emphasis on collaboration, public engagement, and a commitment to serving residents throughout the county.
