Bath Fire Department / February 1, 2026
At 10:58 pm on 1/31/2026 Bath Fire was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 23 Warden St in the village of bath. First arriving units found heavy fire in several rooms of the two story home. Bath Police officers arriving prior to fire units located a subject unconscious in the structure. They removed him. He was transported to Ira Davenport Hosptial by Bath Ambulance and Steuben County ALS. The victims name is being withheld at this time and his condition is unknown. Mutual Aid was provided by Bath VA, Hammondsport, Kanona, Savona, Painted Post, Bath Ambulance and Steuben County EMS. Units were back in service at 3 am
