ATTENTION: VILLAGE AND TOWN OF BATH RESIDENTS
The Village and Town of Bath compost site will be opening on Saturday April 4th, 2026.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
April 4th thru April 25th: Site will be open Saturdays only 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
May 2nd thru May 30th: Site will be open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and
Tuesday & Thursday Evenings 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
June 6th thru November 7th: Site will be open Saturdays only 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Materials that will be accepted are brush, leaves, grass clippings, and garden materials
NO CONTAINERS, PLASTIC BAGS, BUCKETS, BOXES ETC. MAY BE LEFT AT THE SITE. CONSTRUCTION AND OR DEMOLITION MATERIALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
Note: fee schedule
Brush, any length $5.00 per pickup load
6 inches in diameter (maximum)
Leaves $2.00 per pickup load
Grass clippings $2.00 per pickup load
Garden materials $2.00 per pickup load
Fees are based on pickup truck loads – larger or smaller loads will be prorated as necessary.
Tickets may be purchased at the Village Clerks office located in the Municipal Building on Liberty Street between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday
Compost tickets will also be available at Bath Plumbing & Hardware on Liberty Street
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE COMPOST SITE
