The Village of Bath Police Department announced the arrest of 46-year-old Randy N. Burdick following a disturbing sequence of events on Monday, March 30.
The incident began in the vicinity of West William and Liberty Streets. According to authorities, a woman reported being pursued by a nude man. Upon arriving at the scene, officers spotted Burdick, who reportedly attempted to evade law enforcement by fleeing into his residence.
A subsequent investigation revealed even more graphic details. Police state that Burdick did not just follow the woman while unclothed, but also exposed himself and engaged in a public act of masturbation.
Burdick was apprehended and transported to the Steuben County Jail for processing. He faces a charge of public lewdness, a class B misdemeanor.
