Two Finger Lakes communities are gaining national attention after being recognized by USA Today as among the best small towns in the United States.
The cities of Corning and Seneca Falls were both included in the publication’s latest rankings, highlighting their appeal as destinations known for culture, history, and visitor experiences.
Corning, located in Steuben County, is widely recognized for its vibrant arts scene and attractions such as the Corning Museum of Glass, while Seneca Falls, in Seneca County, is known for its historic significance, particularly its connection to the women’s rights movement.
The recognition places both communities among a select group of small towns across the country praised for their unique character and tourism appeal.
The annual rankings from USA Today are based on expert input and public voting, showcasing standout destinations that offer cultural, historical, and recreational experiences despite their smaller size.
