A Bath man has been charged with multiple felony drug offenses following a months-long investigation into narcotics activity in the village, according to local authorities.
Police say 41-year-old Steven Q. Farrell was taken into custody on April 23 by the Bath Police Department on two sealed indictment warrants issued by Steuben County Court.
Farrell faces four Class B felony charges, including two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.
Investigators say the charges stem from an ongoing investigation into the possession and sale of crack cocaine in the Village of Bath dating back to January 2026.
Following his arrest, Farrell was processed and transported to Steuben County Court, where he was arraigned. Authorities report he was released under New York’s bail reform laws after approximately one hour in custody.
Police also noted that Farrell has prior felony convictions and is currently under supervision by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. His current parole status is tied to a previous investigation that resulted in a 2022 drug-related conviction.
The investigation remains ongoing.
