“Street Outlaws” Star Daddy Dave Arrested in Steuben County on Stalking Charges

Staff Report / May 14, 2026

Reality television personality David Comstock, better known to fans as “Daddy Dave” from the Discovery Channel series Street Outlaws, was arrested this week in Steuben County following allegations that he placed a GPS tracking device on another person’s vehicle.

According to the Bath Village Police Department, officers responded Tuesday night to a report of a vehicle tampering incident on Buell Street in the Village of Bath. Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and allegedly observed Comstock, 53, of Oklahoma, reaching underneath a parked vehicle and attaching a GPS tracking device.

Police said the alleged victim contacted authorities after discovering the suspected tampering and reportedly identified Comstock through Ring camera footage. Bath Village Police Chief Donald Lewis told multiple media outlets that officers later located the GPS device on the vehicle during the investigation.

Comstock was arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with misdemeanor stalking and criminal tampering. Authorities said he was arraigned and later released from custody. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the alleged victim.

TMZ reported that Comstock cooperated with investigators during the inquiry. Officials have not publicly identified a motive in the case, and police have not released additional details regarding the relationship between Comstock and the alleged victim.

Comstock rose to national prominence through Street Outlaws, which premiered in 2013 and followed underground street racing competitors in Oklahoma City. Known as one of the show’s top racers, Comstock has remained active in the racing community in recent years, though motorsports publication Dragzine recently reported he had been considering an extended break from racing and had listed parts of his racing operation for sale.
