38th Annual Downtown Canandaigua Art & Music Festival – Sold-Out Vendor Showcase, 12 Live Bands & Three Days of Family Fun
Main Street Art & Music Festival brings in a record number of artists, added performances, and an Art Trail
Canandaigua, NY – The 38th Annual Downtown Canandaigua Art & Music Festival returns Friday, July 17 through Sunday, July 19, transforming Historic Downtown Canandaigua into one of the Finger Lakes’ premier summer destinations. Thousands of visitors are expected to enjoy three days filled with nationally recognized juried artists, live entertainment, local shopping, delicious food, and family-friendly activities.
This year’s festival has reached maximum capacity, with every available artist and vendor space completely sold out well in advance of opening day—a testament to the event’s continued growth and reputation as one of the region’s premier juried art festivals. More than 150 juried artists, makers, food vendors, exhibitors, and downtown businesses will fill Historic Main Street, creating one of the largest and most diverse festivals in the event’s 38-year history.
Festival hours are Friday, July 17 from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday, July 18-19 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Visitors will have the opportunity to browse original artwork in more than a dozen mediums, including painting, photography, jewelry, woodworking, sculpture, glass art, fiber arts, gourmet foods, mixed media, home décor, and much more. Many artists will also demonstrate their creative process throughout the weekend, giving guests an up-close look at the craftsmanship behind their work.
Beyond the festival booths, visitors are encouraged to explore Historic Downtown Canandaigua’s unique boutiques, galleries, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, wineries, and outdoor dining options, making it the perfect Finger Lakes summer weekend destination.
