SWEDEN – Humane investigators with Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, are appealing to the community for help identifying a vehicle connected to a cruel act of animal abuse in Monroe County.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, along the 6500 block of Brockport-Spencerport Road in the Town of Sweden. Investigators reported that a kitten was thrown from the passenger-side window of an eastbound black pickup truck while the vehicle was in motion. Fortunately, the kitten was quickly evaluated and treated for its injuries and is expected to survive.
