Public Invited to Keuka College’s ‘Green & Gold’ Weekend
Campus-wide festivities on the weekend of Sept. 25-27 include parties, wine tastings, athletics contests, and fireworks.
Keuka College’s annual Green & Gold Reunion & Family Weekend once again features a variety of on-campus events. And once again, the general public is invited.
“With so much going on, Green & Gold Weekend is a great opportunity for our neighbors to visit campus and join in the fun,” said Keuka College President Amy Storey.
A few of the weekend’s events cater solely to alumni, but the majority are open to the general public. Among the highlights are:
Welcome Party (Friday, 6 p.m., Chapel Lawn Tent) Includes dinner stations, drinks, and live music – all with stunning Keuka Lake views.
Fireworks (Friday, 8 p.m., Chapel Lawn) Gather for a dazzling display that will light up the shoreline.
Casino Night (Friday, 8:15-10 p.m., Dahlstrom Student Center) Try your luck during an evening of classic games and a chance to win prizes. All games are free to play – casino chips will be available.
Party at the Plex (Saturday, noon-3 p.m., Jephson Athletic Complex) An afternoon of food, fun, and games will include a performance by the College dance team, along with food trucks and local beer and wine beverages for purchase.
Taste of the Finger Lakes (Saturday, 2-4 p.m., Chapel Lawn Tent) Enjoy tastings from local businesses.
Trivia (Saturday, 8-9:30 p.m., Chapel Lawn Tent) Play as part of a team or come solo and join one. Keuka College prizes will be awarded, with munchies available for purchase.
Morning Paddle Tour (Sunday, 9 a.m., Point Neamo) Kayaks and paddleboards available. Whether you’re experienced or a first-timer, it’s a great way to close out the weekend.
In addition, there will be athletics contests, campus tours, lakefront availability, DIY craft events, Bingo, and the chance to explore facilities like Keuka Commons and Lightner Library.
Some events require registration by Sept. 9 and/or admission fees. To register, and for a complete list of events, visit keuka.edu/greenandgold.
