Riesling Harvest Day at KLV is set for Saturday, October 3rd!
October 3rd is the day. That is our best guess of when the ideal time for westside Riesling harvest will be. For those unfamiliar, annually we have one harvest day where friends and family get to participate in the harvest and enjoy the celebration. Many of you know the routine: the day begins just before noon with 4-5 hours of picking grapes, followed by a special tasting of wonderful library and other wines and a glorious harvest dinner prepared by Chef Chris from mostly garden (including the meat) and very local ingredients (there will be a vegetarian option for those who request it.) Participants will be able to purchase wine with a hefty exclusive discountas a reward for your hard work.
This is a ticketed event ($25 for Wine Club Members and 1 guest/ $40 for non-members), which includes the full experience: training, harvesting, tasting, and the incredible multi-course dinner. We will send additional details to all ticketholders closer to the event.
We can’t guarantee that Harvest Day will be lovely weather, but we can say that Harvest Day is loaded with camaraderie, hard work, a feast and special wines and delicious food. It is an opportunity to participate in a portion of what goes into making our prize-winning wines. We look forward to a shared day with many of you!
