CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Summer may be winding down, but the fun is far from over in
Historic Downtown Canandaigua. The Canandaigua Business Improvement District invites
residents and visitors to enjoy a full lineup of September events featuring local flavors, art,
shopping, entertainment and the vibrant businesses that make Downtown Canandaigua a Finger
Lakes destination.
Sip & Stroll Returns September 19
On Saturday, September 19, from 3:00–6:00 p.m., Downtown Canandaigua’s popular Sip &
Stroll returns with a record number of participating stops throughout the downtown district.
Guests can spend the afternoon strolling historic Main Street while visiting participating
businesses for hand-crafted beverages, small bites, shopping specials and more. Over 30 stops
will feature a variety of offerings including local brews and wines, spirits, mocktails and tasty
bites.
Participants will receive a passport to guide them through the event, with the opportunity to
complete their passport for a chance to win Downtown Canandaigua Gift Certificates.
Advance tickets are $20 and include access to participating tasting locations and a keepsake
glass. Tickets will be $25 at the door unless the event sells out in advance. Guests must be 21
or older to purchase and attend and must present valid identification. Check-in will take place at
The Central on Main, 111 South Main Street. Continue the night with dining and live music
by the Lipker Sisters from 6-8 pm at The Central on Main.

The Central on Main is Still Going Strong
The calendar may be inching toward fall, but The Central on Main is still going strong with live music, local food, and downtown fun planned throughout September.
Located at 111 South Main Street, The Central on Main has become a favorite community gathering place where guests can enjoy live entertainment, grab a drink, and order food from participating downtown restaurants to enjoy right on-site.

Final Fridays Art Walk Celebrates the Colors of Fall
The celebration continues on Friday, September 25, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. with the season’s next Final Fridays Art Walk in Historic Downtown Canandaigua.
With a September theme inspired by autumn colors and the local wine harvest, the evening invites the community to stroll downtown and experience Canandaigua’s creative side. Galleries, shops, and local destinations will open their doors with regional art, live demonstrations, creative pop-ups, and special experiences.

The evening coincides with Blues & Brews at The Central on Main (5:00–8:00 p.m.), giving visitors another reason to extend their visit. Final Fridays is free to attend, and guests are encouraged to stroll at their own pace, explore, shop locally, and grab dinner or drinks as the Finger Lakes transitions into fall.
Save the Date: Fall Into Canandaigua (October 24)
The seasonal fun continues on Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., when Fall Into Canandaigua returns to Historic Downtown Canandaigua for a festive, family-friendly celebration.
Downtown will come alive with activities and entertainment for all ages, including:
- Pumpkin decorating
- Kids Costume Parade and Costume Contest
- Witches of Waters Edge performances
- Petting zoo & face painting
- Character meet & greets
- Monster Mash Dance Off with prizes
- Kids Fun Zone, local nonprofit booths, and more
