Evolution or divine intervention ?

As we rappel into the realm of endless information contained within our genetics, we discover libraries of information resident within each of the 50 trillion cells that make up the human genome. Modern investigations of the information contained in DNA brings forth different approaches to interpreting what it contains; they are, coded genetics, context of ancient knowledge through language and divine theology. Human DNA contains enormous amounts of information, chromosome 2 bears evidence of ancient splicing and fusion. Coded DNA can be seen as an information storage medium with chemical constituents that have measureable properties. Numerical relationships have been identified between those chemical properties and ancient alphabets allowing for those relationships to produce particular linguistic interpretations. There are theological versus technological questions regarding translations of the correspondences coded within DNA. Are they natural selection reflected within an evolving coding system or, are they an intentionally preserved divine message such as 1st Corinthians 3:16 reveals; “you yourselves are God’s temple and …God’s Spirit dwells in your midst.”?
There is strong evidence that human chromosome 2, resulted from an ancient telomere to telomere fusion of two pre Homo Saipan chromosomes. This discovery of the possible ‘missing link’, that occurred more than an estimated 0.9 to several million years ago, has been subsequently confirmed by modern genome sequencing. The remnants of telomeres, existing at a fusion site in the exact center of Chromosome 2, indicates that a remarkable event did indeed occur in the evolutionary history of our lineage. Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) concludes that chromosome 2 does indeed contain the relic of an ancient, telomere-to-telomere fusion between two ancestral ape chromosomes. The documented fusion raises a fascinating question: should such an extraordinary event be understood entirely as an evolutionary process, or does it invite a deeper theological interpretation?
Japanese scientists, in 2007, identified the information storage capacity in DNA to far surpass the best computer storage systems of that time. They also demonstrated the ability to encode information into bacterial DNA and retrieve it, The remarkable capacity of DNA to store information has also led some writers, most notabley Greg Braden in his “God Code” to ask whether DNA might contain information beyond its biological function. The four nucleotide bases of DNA – adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine- are chemically the building blocks of DNA and identical in chemical makeup, but differentiated by the number of Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen and Carbon molecules present. Each has atomic mass, the number attributed to it in the Periodic Table of the elements, and when these mass/numbers are combined and sums reduced to a lowest numerical form, the mass can be linked to ancient language coding, which mates numbers and letters. Through the application of this ‘God Code’, information coded in DNA can be read like a book.
The phrase “God Eternal-within the body.“ appears in writings that suggest that there is a ‘God Code’ interpretation of DNA. The previously described methodology, matched numeric values to letters associated with ancient alphabets. “The documented fusion of two ancestral chromosomes has raised the question that science itself cannot answer: whether such an extraordinary event should be understood as an evolutionary process or whether it invites a divine interpretation. The ancient metaphor of the human being ‘God’s temple’, does take on a striking resonance when viewed alongside what modern biology has discovered about the extraordinary information contained within the human cell.
Note: Questions remain regarding the true nature and complete function of the human genome. Perhaps we should take a hint from ancient language that is written ‘backwards’ from right to left and approach our understanding from the end of the equation or conclusion and unfold the mystery in reverse. We know that Life is encoded in DNA and contains the intelligence of creation, populating our genes and chromosomes that in turn generate divine consciousness. Divine, in our new age is best defined as “the ability to transcend perceived limits.” Could it be that Life is indeed the message, received and retained within our DNA?
