Joshua A. “Josh” Stuart, 32, of Angel Rd. passed away peacefully at home, Thursday October 8, 2026.
Josh was born April 19, 1994 in Hornell to Lisa (Pickett) Crane and Kenneth Stuart, Jr.
He was a life long resident of Cameron, graduating from Addison Central School class of 2013.
His love for anything motorized led him to become an accomplished truck driver for many area businesses. He drove milk truck for Rollins Trucking of Canisteo, general delivery for the Terry Brewer Trucking of Jasper. At one point in his life, he ventured West and drove for a harvesting business harvesting corn, wheat, soybeans and oats from Kansas north to Montana and Canada. Returning home he continued to drive truck in the area and was eager to start his own business.
His interests included “Go Cart Racing”, and working the wrecking truck at the Woodhull Race Track. Josh had a passion for anything International Harvester, playing Nintendo and enjoying “side by side” rides with his family and friends.
Josh is survived by his mother Lisa (Glen) Crane of Cameron, his father Kenneth Stuart, Jr. of Cameron, a sister Samantha Sutton of Painted Post, nephew Lucas Stuart and a niece Sandra Sutton of Painted Post. He is also survived by grandmother Jan Crane two very dear friends Zachary Soich and Cynthia Stillman.
He was predeceased by an infant brother Michael Stuart, grandparents Carl & Mary Pickett, Dorr Crane, Kenneth and Marjorie (Midge)Stuart, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday October 14, 2026 at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo, where funeral and committal service will take place immediately following calling hours at 8:00 pm. Final interment will be at the convenience of the family.
