CANANDAIGUA – The University of Rochester Medicine Thompson Health regional Stroke Support Group holds its next monthly meeting on Thursday, Nov. 5.
F.F. Thompson Hospital is a New York State Department of Health-designated Stroke Center and has advanced certification from The Joint Commission as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. The hospital is also a recipient of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award.
Alice Taylor, BSN, is the Quality Assurance Stroke/Sepsis/STEMI Coordinator for Thompson and facilitates the Stroke Support Group.
The Nov. 5 meeting will start at 1 p.m. Meetings are held via Zoom and are open to stroke survivors as well as their loved ones and caregivers. To be added to the invite list for the meeting, email StrokeSupportGroup@urmc.
