The Corning Museum of Glass is offering a unique winter experience with the unveiling of a giant, glass snow family. Created by former Hot Glass Team glassmaker George Kennard and his team, the display features a 6-foot-tall snow dad, a snow mom, their two 3-foot-tall snow children, and their pet snow dog, Pi-Rex.
The impressive display is located in the Innovation Hot Shop and is available for viewing through March 3, 2025. The museum encourages visitors to take advantage of this unique photo opportunity.
Beyond the oversized snow family, the Corning Museum of Glass offers other winter-themed activities. Visitors can warm up in the Make Your Own Glass Studio and create their own glass snowperson.
