The Keuka Lake Association Report 0 Algae Blooms in the Previous Week

In the previous week, Keuka Lake registered 0 harmful algal bloom (HAB) sightings via the Shoreline Monitoring Program. The accumulated findings, totaling 170 surveys conducted this year, will be made publicly available. Over the course of this year, a cumulative count of 9 potential blooms has been documented, with 3 of these undergoing validation as harmful algal blooms through laboratory testing. Additional samples, numbering three, have been dispatched for laboratory analysis, awaiting confirmation. A comprehensive spreadsheet detailing the outcomes will be disseminated as soon as they are compiled.
