A 21-year old Pulteny man lost his life on the Gorham Road
From the Yates County Sheriff,
On September 23rd around 2:10am Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Benton Fire Department, Penn Yan Ambulance and the Office of Emergency Management responded to Gorham Rd in the Town of Benton for a one car MVA. Investigation revealed that Tyler Williams was traveling eastbound on Gorham Road when he lost control of his vehicle and went off of the south shoulder. Williams then over-corrected, resulting in his vehicle traveling back across the roadway to the North shoulder where the vehicle began to overturn into the field. Williams was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation is ongoing at this time.
