A Finger Lakes dream come true in Rock Stream NY
Mike and Jayne Gibbs are the proud owners and creators of Toast Winery. Like every great story it started with a dream…after years of frequent visits to the Finger Lakes region from NJ, a passion for wine and the tasting room experience was developed.
It seemed with every trip the desire deepened to figure out how they could do this themselves and provide that amazing experience to others. Mike started home winemaking, with a focus on learning how to do it right, just like the pros did, winning several amateur medals along the way. The reality of Corporate life took them down South, but that didn’t stop the hopes and dreams as they then discovered the Yadkin Valley of NC and all it had to offer.
After years of wishing and hoping they decided it was time to make it a reality. After exploring different options there was just no doubt that the Finger Lakes was the place they wanted to be and is where they are now proud to call home.
