Consider giving to the Finger Lakes SPCA this November 28
Hammondsport Chamber of Commerce Celebrates GivingTuesday by hosting a donation drive for the Hammondsport Feral Cat Project and Finger Lakes SPCA. We are joining millions around the world participating in the global generosity movement on November 28, 2023
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 28, 2023, and throughout the year.
We have joined GivingTuesday this year to help those that have no voice for themselves. We Will be taking in donations for by The Finger Lakes SPCA and Hammondsport Feral Cat Project.
The Finger Lakes SPCA was founded in 1949 as the Bath Animal Shelter. They are a nonprofit organization supported by private donations and the local community. Their mission is to protect animals. They are dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and companion animal overpopulation. The organization is committed to strengthening and supporting the human-animal bond through education about the humane treatment of all animals and responsible companion animal guardianship.
The Hammondsport Feral Cat Project Is here to help with the spay and neutering of the stray cats here in Hammondsport. They help gather the feral cats and take them to the vets in order to ensure they are healthy and they receive the care they need.
