From the Yates County Sheriff’s Office,
The members of the Yates County Sheriff’s Office would like to welcome back Deputy Sheriff Derek Chisom. Derek began his career with the Sheriff’s office in our corrections division in 2012 before promoting to road patrol in 2015. Derek took a lateral transfer leaving our agency in 2017.
Derek resumes as a full time Deputy Sheriff effective March 12, 2024. Welcome back, we look forward to a long fruitful career Deputy Chisom! Pictured are Sheriff Ryan, Deputy Chisom, and Undersheriff Jensen
