With over twenty-five years in Western New York, Kelly brings a wealth of experience and a passion for Finger Lakes wines, particularly Riesling and Heron Hill’s Classic Cabernet Franc. Her favorite comfort food, cassoulet, pairs perfectly with her go-to wine. Kelly’s adventurous spirit and love for Heron Hill’s wines promise exciting developments for the winery’s future.
From Heron Hill: Happy International Women’s Day! On this special occasion, we are thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Kelly Ashford, as our National Sales Manager! Originally from Boise, Idaho, Kelly has made Western New York her home for over twenty five years. A wine industry veteran, Kelly comes to us having had diverse experiences. And while she has studied wine in California, Oregon, and Europe, her passion for the wines being produced in the Finger Lakes has remained constant. While Kelly’s favorite grape is Riesling, you’ll often find Heron Hill’s Classic Cabernet Franc in her glass. Kelly makes her home in Buffalo, New York, and when she’s not tasting and talking about Heron Hill wines, she’s home cooking for the people important to her, or planning her next big adventure.
