Co-owner Suzanne Hunt of Hunt Country Vineyards recently took the spotlight on our local NPR radio station, WXXI Connections. She engaged in a compelling discussion with host Evan Dawson in anticipation of the Environmental Innovation Awards in Rochester. Suzanne’s involvement in the awards is particularly meaningful as she serves on the Board of Trustees for the Seneca Park Zoo Society, the organization behind the awards.

The Environmental Innovation Awards, set for tomorrow, March 28, aim to recognize and celebrate local and regional innovators striving to address pressing environmental challenges. Suzanne joined Pamela Reed Sanchez, the President and CEO of the Seneca Park Zoo Society, and Richard Juan, the keynote speaker for the Innovation Awards, in a thought-provoking conversation. Together, they explored a variety of local and global issues impacting our communities and businesses.

Suzanne’s appearance on NPR not only sheds light on her dedication to environmental causes but also underscores the commitment of individuals like her in creating sustainable solutions.
