Riverside, NY – The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that beginning, April 15, State Route 352 in the vicinity of the bridge over Interstate 86 in the Village of Riverside, Steuben County, will be closed to traffic on weeknights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. to facilitate bridge repairs. The project is expected to be completed by mid-June.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour utilizing State Route 415.
Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions. Motorists should anticipate travel delays and are advised to seek an alternate route.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
