Steuben County Sheriffs Department's Safety Awareness Week: A Call to Action

In an effort to enhance safety awareness, the Steuben County Sheriffs Department has announced a week-long campaign focused on crucial safety topics. Beginning on April 22nd and running through April 26th, each day will highlight a specific safety concern:

  • Monday, April 22nd: Speeding in School Zones
  • Tuesday, April 23rd: Seatbelt/Child Restraints
  • Wednesday, April 24th: Cell Phone and Texting
  • Thursday, April 25th: Operation Safe Stop
  • Friday, April 26th: Underage Drinking/Impaired Driving

The campaign aims to educate and remind the community about these important safety issues. Joining forces with law enforcement, residents are encouraged to prioritize safety on the roads and work together to make a difference.
