A professional approach eases a difficult situation
From the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office,
Recently Deputy Saltsman was called to respond to the report of a loose K-9 attacking a neighbors dog. While the results of this call were unfortunate, one of the involved parties reached out to Sheriff Allard to share his appreciation for Deputy Saltsman’s handling of the matter. He shared that Deputy Saltsman “was kind and gentle with his wife and very professional” during a difficult situation.
