Narrative:
On May 29, 2024 at or about 3:50 pm Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies responded with Penn Yan Fire and Ambulance, Yates EMS and NYSP to a two car motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Bath Rd and Second Milo Rd. On arrival both vehicles were located in the ditch on the southeast corner of the intersection with heavy damage to both. Mrs Kegresse was extricated from her vehicle and transported by Penn Yan Ambulance to the Penn Yan Airport where she was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Mrs Roehlke was transported by Penn Yan Ambulance to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. At this time the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
