Visit local libraries to win “swag,” and milestone prizes

Join the Southern Tier STARQuest library tour! Visit as many of the 48 Southern Tier Library System (STLS) member library locations as you can from July 1st to September 30th.
STLS libraries throughout Allegany, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, and Yates counties invite people of all ages to participate in the STARQuest tour. To begin, pick up a map from your local library. Use your map to track your library visits – be sure to get the official sticker at each stop – and earn swag along the way! When you hit a milestone stop, let the library staff know, and collect your prize. Milestone stops include visits to 5, 10, 24, and 48 libraries.
Brian Hildreth, Executive Director of the Southern Tier Library System, states, “We hope the STARQuest tour will encourage community members across the Southern Tier to visit and become familiar with the region’s libraries and the unique programming and services that each one has to offer. Each of the 48 STLS library locations has something special to offer.”
