The 5th Annual KLA Golf Tournament is set for July 15, sign up now

Hello KLA Members-

It’s officially summer at the lake and we are diving into the most exciting season of the year! It’s time to soak in the warmest and longest days that are ahead. This week, we are looking forward to July 4th on the lake, which brings families and friends together for picnics and fireworks to celebrate Independence Day.

There’s been a lot going on at the KLA over the last month! We officially moved our office to a new location at Keuka Business Park and are settling in nicely. Next, we welcomed our new Executive Assistant, Kate Parsons, who you will meet at the upcoming events and speak to when you call/email the office. July also ushers in two of our biggest events- the KLA Golf Tournament and our Annual Meeting!

On July 15th, we will be hosting the 5th Annual KLA Golf Tournament at Lakeside Country Club. There is still time to register! Please see below for the registration form.

Our Annual Member Meeting will be held at Keuka College on Saturday, July 20th. We would love for you to come out and learn about all that is happening at the KLA!

We hope to see you at one of our events and that you get enjoy all the excitement of July. We continue to be in awe of the adventure and beauty that our region offers to our residents and guests.

JULY EVENTS AROUND THE LAKE

The Branchport Fire Department will host their annual July 4th Chicken BBQ. In addition, the traditional July 4th parade will be held in Branchport with Fireworks to follow, beginning at 10PM.

At the other end of the lake, Hammondsport will have their Fireman’s Carnival and festivities from July 4th – 6th. On July 13th and 14th, the Keuka Lake Art Association will host the 56th Annual Hammondsport Art Show in Village Square and on July 20th and 21st, the Wine Country Classic Boat Show will come to Depot Park.

Later in the month, the annual Krossin Keuka fundraiser will be held on July 27th. This is your chance to take a fun .67-mile family swim across the lake, while helping raise money for Keuka Comfort Care.

These are just a few of the exciting events happening around our lake in the month of July! Please explore the local chamber of commerce websites for more summer fun.
