Cayuga Health has announced the opening of new laboratory services at their Ithaca Mall location starting Monday. The lab will operate Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding major holidays. Patients can now conveniently access lab work alongside primary care, cardiology, and rheumatology services in one location, eliminating the need for additional travel.
Jeffrey Penoyer, Chief Operating Officer of Cayuga Medical Associates, emphasized the move’s significance in enhancing patient convenience and integrated care. The decision aims to improve accessibility, leveraging the location’s proximity to public transportation and ample parking at the mall.
The Ithaca Mall site, which opened in March, marks a strategic expansion for Cayuga Health in providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community.
