Summer Festivities and Events at Heron Hill and Point of the Bluff Wineries

This August, Heron Hill and Point of the Bluff wineries are bustling with exciting events, from live music to yoga and local markets.

This August, Heron Hill and Point of the Bluff wineries are bustling with exciting events, from live music to yoga and local markets.

Heron Hill Winery is set to offer an array of enjoyable events throughout August.

  • On Friday, August 2, River Lynch will perform live, bringing his renowned talent to the winery’s Summer Music Happy Hour. Lynch, known for his performances across New York, including Hammondsport and a notable opening act for Dave Mason and The Steeldrivers, promises an evening of great music.
  • On Saturday, August 3, Heron Hill’s Canandaigua Tasting Room will host Justin Molina from 3-7 PM. While there will be no food truck present, guests are encouraged to bring their own food and snacks. The winery will offer its selection of delicious wines and New York craft beers for purchase. Additionally, on Sunday, August 11, the winery will hold a Yoga in the Garden class from 11 AM to 12 PM. The session, led by a certified instructor from Crystal Heart Yoga, provides an opportunity for relaxation and rejuvenation amidst the tranquil setting of the winery.

At Point of the Bluff Winery, the fun continues with a variety of events and activities.

  • The Farmer’s Market, running Thursdays from 5-7 PM, features local growers and artisans, with live music, bocce courts, and offerings from The Park Out food truck. This week’s vendors include Glenn Scott Farm, Chey’s Pierogi Shop, and Keuka Brewing, among others. Live music at the market will be provided by Chris & Korie on August 1, with additional performances throughout the month.
  • On Friday, August 2, Point of the Bluff will host the First Friday event benefiting the Finger Lakes Land Trust. From 5-8 PM at the Hangar 17 Lounge, attendees can enjoy live music from Public Water Supply, participate in a raffle, and support conservation efforts. The Park Out food truck and Dippity Do Dahs will be on-site offering tasty food and ice cream.
