Racing enthusiasts will have a thrilling opportunity to experience the excitement of NASCAR up close at the Corning Museum of Glass (CMoG) on Wednesday, August 7. The event, called “A Winning Wednesday” (previously known as Fueled Up Fun), promises a unique blend of fast cars and fascinating glass-making demonstrations.
Running from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event will showcase NASCAR stock cars and the Watkins Glen International pace car, offering fans a chance to get a closer look at these impressive machines. Attendees can enjoy racing-themed hot glass demonstrations in the Amphitheater Hot Shop, where the museum’s Hot Glass team will demonstrate the creation of NASCAR trophies on-site. “This event lets fans forge unbreakable memories,” said Regina Wagner, CMoG Senior Manager of Guest Services.
Visitors will have the chance to see cars like the 2024 Toyota TRD Pace Car and the #19 Martin Truex Jr Show Car. The event will also feature a scavenger hunt, photo opportunities with NASCAR trophies, and giveaways from Watkins Glen International, ensuring a fun-filled experience for all attendees.
