The Yates County Youth Bureau is inviting local non-profit organizations to apply for youth development grants for the upcoming year. Applications are being accepted until September 13 for programs running from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.
Local non-profits have an opportunity to secure funding for youth-focused initiatives as the Yates County Youth Bureau opens its grant application process for 2025. Organizations offering programs that support the growth and development of youth are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is September 13, and the funds will be allocated to programs that will operate between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025.
To qualify, programs must cater to individuals under the age of 21 and aim to foster positive growth through activities such as community service, physical fitness, and educational enrichment. Sports programs, in particular, should be designed for children aged 6 to 17 and must have robust governance and child safety measures in place.
The funding will be distributed according to New York State’s guidelines and is intended to support a diverse range of youth activities across Yates County. For more details or to submit an application, visit the Yates County Youth Bureau’s website or reach out to Christine Yonge at 315-531-3451.
