The Penn Yan Department of Public Works has successfully completed its fall street paving projects, including sections of Main Street and several residential roads.
The paving, which began on September 27, wrapped up on October 3, covering areas like Youngs, Howard, Grace Streets, and Florence Avenue.
With paving complete, the DPW will shift focus to fall cleanup starting on October 21, beginning with brush collection. Residents are reminded to have brush at the curb by that date, with leaf collection following from November 4 to November 15. Specific guidelines for both collections are in place to ensure smooth operations.
