Important Notice: Penn Yan Hydrant Flushing May Cause Temporary Water Discoloration
Starting today, the Village of Penn Yan will be flushing hydrants throughout the week. As a result, residents may notice a temporary discoloration of their tap water. This is normal and does not indicate any safety concerns. To clear discolored water, simply run cold water for 3-5 minutes and check for clarity.
