From Steuben County, see the interactive map here
In response to the ongoing opioid crisis affecting communities across the nation and here in Steuben County, Steuben County Public Health, and the Steuben County Opioid Committee are proud to announce the launch of a new Narcan Location GIS (Geographic Information System) Map. This innovative tool is designed to provide easy access to lifesaving Naloxone, commonly known as Narcan, a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.
The Narcan Location Map is a user-friendly, interactive tool that shows the location of Narcan wall box units throughout Steuben County. These sites provide Narcan free of charge and without a prescription, allowing individuals and families to have access to this critical resource. The map is designed to empower residents, family members, and friends to locate Narcan quickly in times of need, potentially saving lives and helping prevent opioid-related tragedies.
Users can access the Narcan Location Map through the Steuben County Public Health website. Simply visit the website’s Quick Links section and select “Narcan Locations – ArcGIS App” to begin a search.
